The last stop for the US Paintball League is in Las Vegas on October 16-18. Not only in Vegas but right on the strip. The event will be held outside of the Riviera Hotel and Casino.

Also, the Riviera is offering a great deal to participants for the event. All teams playing the event can get a hotel room for $69/night. Each room includes 2 queen sized beds and free parking. When reserving your hotel room, make sure to mention “PAINTBL” or the US Paintball League.

There will also be a Paintball Celebrity Poker Tournament on Friday night and an Award Show Saturday evening.

Just thought of this when I finished writing… This event could be very costly event for all the 21+ ballers out there. And for all you young ones; enjoy Circus Circus, the arcade, or the pool.

Traumahead Back on TV

Traumahead will be back on TV starting on Friday August 21, 2009. Traumahead will be airing at 5:30pm on Friday, and will re-air on the following Sunday at 11:30am and 8:30pm. The show is mainly on DirectTV but will also be airing on some Comcast and Cox cable markets.

Pro Updates for DC Challenege

The Naughty Dogs are back playing 7-man in the USPL and playing in the pro division starting at the DC Challenge.

Teams have the chance to practice with Arsenal this weekend and next weekend at PEVS. If you want to join in all the fun, your team must register in advance by calling (703) 327-7640.

Free Play at Pevs

Come out to the DC Challenge at PEVS on August 28-30 and pick up a free pass (Pass includes free field fee, air, rental and safety equipment. Pass does not cover paint) to come back and play for free. Just drop by the registration tent and ask for your free pass to PEVS.

Ohio PSP Ref Clinic

PSP is offering a 2-day clinic to allow you to be a certified ref. The clinic will be held September 12th and 13th at Splat Paintball in North Lawrence, Ohio. The cost to attend is $85.00 and capped at 60 people. Minimum age suggested is 16.

The clinic includes:
- classroom training
- Topics to include, but not limited to: rules, positioning, safety, presentation, & attitude.
- Written test on PSP rules & in-game situations
- On field training
- Performance evaluation in key areas
- PSP rulebook, covering all formats
- Certificate of clinic completion
- Day 1 – Check-in begins at 9:30 AM, classroom training to begin at 10:00 AM, clinic ends at 4:30 PM (approximately)
- Day 2 – Classroom begins at 10:00 AM, Live scrimmage reffing, clinic ends at 3:00 PM
